Irrigation Systems Limited (formerly Northern Irrigation
Limited) was founded in 1989 by Peter Barwell to cater
for all facets of turf irrigation. We are currently
the only company in New Zealand solely dedicated to
turf irrigation.
Our
mission is to provide quality irrigation solutions
utilising Rain Bird irrigation products.
Since
1997 we have been an authorised importer and distributor
of Rain Bird irrigation products and Spears PVC fittings.
In 2004 Advanced Irrigation Systems were appointed
as the sole authorised New Zealand distributor for
Rain Bird's golf irrigation products. In 2004 we also
became importers and distributors for Aqua Master
fountains and aerators. In addition to our imported
products we have long established local distribution
arrangements with Marley NZ Limited and other equipment
suppliers. This means we can provide quality product
in a timely manner for all parts of an irrigation
system.
Early
in our company's development it was recognised that
quality design and advisory services coupled with
good after-sales support were essential in the specialised
turf irrigation market.
Our
goal of quality solutions and back-up support has
lead to the development of the irrigation concept
called Advanced Irrigation Systems. This concept is
the formalising of the quality aspects we now incorporate
in all our projects.
